Raven Robinson is a young, innovative political strategist and public relations consultant from the Bronx, New York. She is also CEO of PR2Politics, a PR consulting firm that provides public relations and governmental affairs services to political candidates, public figures, non-profit organizations, and business owners. Since its inception in 2009, PR2Politics has been a part of several NYS Senate, Assembly, and NYC City Council campaigns, helping some of the most prominent leaders secure political seats such as NYS Senator Kevin Parker. Raven’s bottom line is to bridge the gap between government, business, and community.

 

In 2012, Raven received her Bachelor’s in Political Science from the City College of New York, where she first discovered her passion for public relations after joining the Public Relations Student Society (PRSSA). She eventually worked her way to serve as President of PRSSA’s New York chapter and the rest is history.

 

After nabbing a press position at the National Dance for Obama, a Boston-based organization, Raven’s career took flight when several videos she created went viral and were mentioned by the likes of CNN, CBS, and Fox. Raven Robinson has since planned inaugurations, and social media campaigns and continually secures high-level press placements for her clients on prominent print news outlets, radio, and well-known television news outlets like News12 and Inside City Hall.

 

In recent years, Raven has continued to work with non-political entities, leading to opportunities to speak at NBC Universal events and a number of entrepreneurial conferences throughout the country. She’s been quoted on Black Enterprise and Forbes, encouraging entrepreneurs to be unapologetic about betting on themselves and to be unafraid of blazing new trails. Overall, Ms. Robinson is passionate about maintaining a clientele who seek to make a difference. Robinson is also an author, she released a workbook entitled “Your Campaign: A Business Owner’s Guide to Understanding Public Relations” in 2014, to help entrepreneurs strengthen their public relations approach by providing exercises to practice top PR strategies. Raven has been featured in City and State Magazine’s “Top 40 under 40 Rising Star in Government” and has served as the VP of Government Affairs at The Women in Entertainment Empowerment

Network (WEEN) since 2015.
